Find events near youEuthia is the open-world sandbox RPG from Czech studio Diea Games, originally Kickstarted in 2020 as Euthia: Torment of Resurrection for around $450,000. Steamforged partnered with Diea in 2022 to relaunch the IP through a fresh Kickstarter, and the pair have been building expansions ever since. The game sits in BGG's heavyweight tier with a Diablo-esque reputation, handing 1-4 players a hex map, a stack of loot tables and the choice of playing competitively, cooperatively or solo. Cruel Frost shifts the saga north, where a Spider Queen has seized forbidden ice magic and the displaced Ice Clans are looking for allies. Expect new heroes, new enemies and a Chill mechanic that punishes anyone underdressed for the weather.
This is being pitched explicitly as the final big Euthia expansion. The Kickstarter sits well above goal and has been one of the more talked-about UK campaigns of the spring, helped along by Steamforged's Dark Souls, Resident Evil and Warmachine track record.
