Atomic Mass Games has dropped a meaty April rules update for Star Wars: Legion that touches almost every corner of the game, and the headline news is two brand new Battle Forces ready to download right now. (For the uninitiated, Legion is AMG's 28mm Star Wars skirmish miniatures game, and Battle Forces are themed sub-faction lists with their own unit restrictions and special rules.)

Hondo himself is the most flexible Operative ever printed for the game thanks to his Mercenary keyword, which lets him slot into nearly any faction. His unique rule, "My Mood is Based on Profit," swings the value of his other keywords depending on the pips of the Command Card you played that round. If you've ever wanted to bolt some pirates onto your Imperial or Rebel list, this is the unit for the job.
The second Battle Force, the Rapid Interdiction Force, is a Separatist build pulling together General Grievous, Wheelbike Warlord and Admiral Trench around Vehicles, Heavy Troopers and the speed to strike before opponents can dig in. It reportedly has the longest Special Rules section of any Battle Force yet, leaning into Geonosians, STAPs and anything else that can cross the field in one Round.

Strike Teams shift to the Support rank with Incognito and Prepared Position for forward deployment, and Sniper rifles trade their old Pierce mechanics for Overwhelm under the new Sniper Team keyword. Points dropped on Rebel Commandos, Wookiees and Range Troopers, while Rebel Bad Batch crept up to 150 and Saber Throw jumped to 10.
All changes are live now, just in time to overhaul your list before the summer tournament season kicks off. If your local Legion crew is gearing up for an event, this is the moment to dust off old units that just got cheaper and see if anyone fancies running a pirate crew.
