Scooby-Doo Gets a Social Deduction Board Game This June

If you have ever wanted to unmask a villain at a Scooby-Doo costume party, Resurrection Games has you covered. Scooby-Doo! Mystery Masquerade is a social deduction board game for 3-5 players heading to retail in June 2026 at $37.95.

The setup is pure Scooby-Doo: the Coolsville Diamond has been stolen during a grand masquerade ball, and the gang needs to figure out who took it. Players search a modular mansion board (the layout changes each game for added replayability), collecting clues to unmask suspects before the thief escapes. The jewel thief could be anyone at the party, which means trust is in short supply and accusations fly freely.

The game leans into its source material with 16 classic villains including the Black Knight Ghost, Captain Cutler, Ghost Clown, and Snow Ghost. At 20-30 minutes per game and suitable for ages 8 and up, it sits in a sweet spot for family game nights. Resurrection Games revealed the title at GAMA Expo earlier this year.

Looking for a group to play with? Browse communities near you

Social deduction games have had a strong run lately, from Blood on the Clocktower's massive community to lighter options like Werewolf. Mystery Masquerade pitches itself as a gateway into the genre for younger players and families, something the category could use more of.

If you are looking for a new group game for mixed-age tables, this one is worth keeping an eye on when it hits shelves in June.
