If your game night sometimes swells to six or seven people while half your collection caps out at four, Honeycomb Hustle is worth a look. It is a new bag-building game from Last Night Games that seats up to eight players, and it was one of five titles the studio revealed for 2026 on 18 July.

Start organising for freeBag-building is the tactile cousin of deck-building. Rather than shuffling cards, you reach into a cloth bag, pull out tokens and use what you draw. In Honeycomb Hustle each round has you laying those tokens to build your own honeycomb and scoring flower points for clever arrangements. Those points buy more honey and stronger tokens, which go back in the bag to fuel bigger turns later. Designers Nate and Jake Jenne pitch it as easy to learn with room to get sharp. It plays two to eight, ages 10 and up, in about half an hour, for $34.95 (around £27).
The headline here is that eight-player count. Games that stay quick and fun as the table grows are gold for anyone running a session, and a 30-minute bag-builder that scales that high is a rare thing. If you are the one wrangling a big group, it is the sort of game that keeps everyone at one table rather than splitting into two. Rounding up that many players is the harder part, so if your group needs topping up, find a game night near you. There is no firm UK release date yet; it is due in 2026 with the rest of the Last Night Games slate.
