There's a new deckbuilder coming to UK Games Expo that asks you to defeat monsters and then carry their powers into battle yourself. Wickens: The Deckbuilding Game, from indie UK studio Deep Etch Games, launches on Kickstarter on Tuesday 26 May and runs throughout the show (29 to 31 May), with the team demoing it on stand 4-136.

The draw is crafting combos and reacting to whatever your opponent is assembling across the table. It supports one to four players and is aimed at ages 13 and up.
The pull of a Kickstarter that opens alongside the UK's biggest tabletop event is that you can sit down and play it before deciding whether to pledge.
