Wizards of the Coast has lifted the lid on the six Commander decks shipping with Reality Fracture this autumn, and the headline product is a four-colour Jace Beleren deck called Multiverse Reforged that finally turns the Gatewatch's resident telepath into the tragic anti-villain the storyline has been hinting at for years.

Set up your group for freeThe set, hitting shops 2 October 2026, is built around the Echoverse, an alternate reality Jace himself has created which has begun bleeding into the main Multiverse. Multiverse Reforged leans on that "what if" hook by replacing tokens with alternate-reality versions of beloved Magic creatures, with 82 reprints and 18 brand new cards in the 100-card list. The missing fifth colour is green, a curious flex for a Jace deck and a sign Wizards is bending the colour pie to fit the storyline.
The other five decks are a separate experiment. Branded as Foundations decks, they're monocolour starters aimed at new players: Calling All Angels (Giada, Font of Hope), Keen Engineering (Sai, Master Thopterist), Wretched Ranks (Ghoulcaller Gisa), Reign of Dragons (Lathliss, Dragon Queen) and Tramplesaurus Rex (Ghalta, Primal Hunger). They echo the cheaper 2022 Commander Starter Decks and look ideal for shop demo nights or for handing to your mate who keeps asking what Commander actually is.

Find events near youThere's a UK angle worth flagging. Standard Commander precons have crept up to £45-55 RRP, so cheaper Foundations decks could be the most affordable way into the format since Wizards retired the Starter line three years ago. If you're trying to bring a new Commander player into your local pod, these are the boxes to keep an eye on.
Final pricing, full decklists and the four-colour Jace card itself are still under wraps, with more previews due closer to release.
