Agent 47 Hits the Tabletop as Hitman Board Game Launches April 30

Agent 47 is trading pixels for cardboard. MOOD Publishing has announced Hitman: The Board Game, a competitive 1-4 player experience launching on Gamefound on 30 April. Built around IO Interactive's World of Assassination trilogy (the series that has attracted over 75 million players), the tabletop version lets you step into the shoes of four agents: the iconic Agent 47, Stone, Knight, or Lucas Grey.

The game sits closer to a tactical race than a dungeon crawl. Each mission is a sandbox built from modular map pieces pulled directly from the trilogy's locations. Players use ability cards to move through disguises, distract guards, and exploit patrol routines, all racing to eliminate their target before anyone else does.

Worth knowing: MOOD Publishing's previous project, the Valheim board game, had a rocky fulfilment. Backers reported damaged components, missing pieces, and slow support responses during delivery in late 2025. The publisher has acknowledged these issues publicly on Gamefound, stating they have been working through them and that "no one is being left behind." Whether that reassures potential backers will likely depend on how the next few months go.
