RuneQuest fans have spent years asking for official miniatures of their Glorantha adventurers. This month, Rune Marked Miniatures is finally delivering, with an officially licensed Kickstarter due to land in May for a range of figures pulled straight from Chaosium's RuneQuest Starter Set. For the uninitiated, RuneQuest is a long-running tabletop RPG, not a board game, and these are the first table-ready minis built specifically for it in years.

Find events near youThe campaign covers the four pre-generated player characters from the Starter Set, set in the Bronze Age fantasy world that Greg Stafford created at Chaosium back when Steve Perrin first designed RuneQuest in 1978. Glorantha is one of the oldest continuously developed settings in tabletop, predating even the Forgotten Realms, and Chaosium's current RuneQuest: Roleplaying in Glorantha edition currently sits inside the top ten on RPGGeek. Until now, official figures for the line have been a patchwork of Reaper sculpts, Wargames Foundry packs and the occasional retired Citadel mini.
Specifics on pledge tiers and the launch date are still pending, but Rune Marked is already taking requests for broo, ducks and Storm Bull cultists in later waves, with Chaosium confirming the line is officially licensed.
