Hellfire Dispatches Maps Pathfinders War Across Avistan

If your Pathfinder table has been dipping into the Hellfire Crisis storyline, Paizo just dropped the splatbook you actually want. Lost Omens: Hellfire Dispatches hit retail on 1 April 2026, packaging 128 pages of war coverage, NPCs and player options into a single setting guide for Pathfinder Second Edition. The standard hardcover is $44.99 with a $64.99 special edition for table-conscious GMs who want their books to look as serious as their campaigns.

The Hellfire Crisis is Paizos biggest metaplot in years, an Avistan-wide war kicked off by the Hellbreakers Adventure Path that launched in March. Where the adventure path drops your party straight into the rebellion against Cheliax, Hellfire Dispatches steps back and shows you the whole map. The book delivers a timeline told via fictional first-person dispatches from the front, a gazetteer covering every theatre of the war, ten new archetypes for player characters, and a chunk of troops statted up for Pathfinder Battlecry, Paizos miniatures-skirmish ruleset.

That last bit matters more than it sounds. Battlecry-compatible troop blocks mean your dispatches book doubles as scenario fuel for skirmish nights, which is the kind of crossover Paizo has been quietly building towards. Reviewers have flagged the gazetteer as one of the strongest Lost Omens entries in recent memory, with content that flexes from heist plots to grim-front campaigns without feeling like filler.

If youve been running a Pathfinder game and felt the Hellfire Crisis was happening somewhere off-page, this is the book that pulls it onto your table. UK gamers can order through Paizos regional retail partners, and the PDF lands at the same time on Paizos store. The next chapter, regional gazetteer Cheliax: Infernal Inheritance, follows in October to wrap the war up.
