When a card-game publisher announces one new game, you note it and move on. Exploding Kittens has just announced ten at once, and two of them carry names you would not expect on a game box: NPR's Planet Money and the webcomic The Oatmeal.
Run game nights? Backseat Gamer handles RSVPs, waitlists, date polling, and game voting so you can focus on playing.
Start organising for freeThe 30 June announcement lays out a run of releases across July and August. The pick of the bunch for many will be Sell Me A Sasquatch ($19.99), a bluffing and selling game co-created with the team behind NPR's Planet Money podcast, which sounds like a fun collision of pop-economics and party chaos. Then there is Dead Therapist ($24.99), a murder mystery featuring original artwork from The Oatmeal, whose gleefully morbid style is a natural fit. The rest run the gamut: the adrenaline card game Rage Mode, the kid-friendly 9 Lives, the drawing party game I Suck At Drawing, and, yes, Flat Earth The Game.
Exploding Kittens has been a party-game fixture since it launched its first game more than a decade ago, and ten new titles in one go makes for a busy summer.

See how it worksOne catch for readers on this side of the Atlantic: the rollout is US-first, spread across Target, Walmart, Amazon and Barnes & Noble with several store exclusives, and UK dates have not been announced. If the Planet Money game sounds like your table's kind of evening, it is worth keeping an eye on for a UK release.
