Entropy Brings a Heavy Sci-Fi Euro to Gamefound

If you like your euros chunky and your table quiet with concentration, Board & Dice has lined up your summer. Entropy, a new sci-fi strategy game for 1 to 4 players, goes live on Gamefound on 15 June 2026, and it arrives with one of the strongest designer credits of the year: Simone Luciani (Darwin's Journey, Anachrony), Tommaso Battista (Barrage) and Nestore Mangone (Newton).

You play a far-future scientist racing to build solar systems from nothing, evolving stars, seeding planets with life and shaping whole biomes to rack up points. Driving it all is a double orbital rondel: two concentric rings you move around to gather resources and ecosystem symbols before feeding them into a personal tableau of upgrades and abilities. Wargamer reckons the result feels a little like No Man's Sky on cardboard.

That tracks for this group. Board & Dice has built its name on dense, point-chasing euros that reward planning several moves ahead, and the trio's back catalogue, from the dam-building scrap of Barrage to the careful worker placement of Darwin's Journey, leans hard into tight optimisation. Plan for a proper sit-down session of 90 to 120 minutes once everyone settles in.

Stop juggling Meetup, WhatsApp, and spreadsheets. One platform for your gaming group's events, RSVPs, and member management.

This is a Gamefound campaign rather than a shop release, so backing now is how you lock in the base pledge at £41 (about $55), which throws in three extras: Satellites, a Home System and a set of Luminescent Lifeform cards. The game is due to ship later in 2026. If you want to round up a group for a brain-burner like this, find a game night near you.
