Set up your group for freeIt is a sharp asymmetric two-hander. One of you is Angela Farbank, a globe-trotting forger trying to cash a cool $1,000,000 in dud cheques. The other is FBI agent Jessah Hope, determined to slap the cuffs on her. Angela's movements happen in secret behind her own world map, so Jessah has to read the table, plant radars and barriers, and work out where her quarry will surface next.
The clever bit is the programming. Each round both players secretly choose actions and lay tokens, and the higher token usually gets to perform both of its actions while the other settles for just one. Every pick becomes a little mind-game of "what will they expect me to do?" Angela wins by banking her million. Jessah wins by catching Angela three times, with the first two nabs only costing the forger an identity. A game runs about half an hour, and it is the work of designers Gautier de Cottreau and Baptiste Laurent.

Putting Red Notice on Board Game Arena hands all that secret bookkeeping to the app, which makes it an easy pick for a quick online duel with a friend across the country. If it clicks, it is the sort of game that begs for a regular two-player meetup.
