Disney Lorcana's Wilds Unknown Brings Pixar to the TCG 8 May

After two years of fans asking when, Disney Lorcana is finally letting Pixar through the door. Wilds Unknown, the 12th set for Ravensburger's hit Disney TCG, hits prerelease shelves on Friday 8 May with a wide release a week later on 15 May.

This is the first time any Pixar property has appeared in Lorcana since the game launched in 2023, and Ravensburger isn't holding back. The Pixar debut covers Toy Story, Brave and The Incredibles all in one go, with confirmed cards including Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, Sid, Mr. Incredible, Violet, Dash and Merida. Two new character classifications, Toy and Super, mean Pixar characters will synergise with each other across decks built around their franchises.

The set adds new locations to the Lorcana board too, with Pizza Planet stepping in alongside the existing Disney castles and kingdoms. Enchanted cards in Wilds Unknown also debut a new "Lore Nouveau" art style with organic Art Nouveau motifs, a small visual flex over the standard Enchanteds collectors have been chasing since launch.

Stop juggling Meetup, WhatsApp, and spreadsheets. One platform for your gaming group's events, RSVPs, and member management.

The release timing is no accident. Toy Story 5 lands in cinemas on 19 June, and Lorcana drops have a track record of selling out in UK shops when they sync up with film releases. The previous Snow White set vanished from most independent retailers within a week of launch.

Prerelease events between 8 and 14 May are usually the easiest way for new players to grab sealed packs without queuing for chase cards. If you're new to the game and curious whether it actually plays well, the prerelease format is the friendliest learning curve. Find a Lorcana community in the UK and grab a seat before stock walks out the door.
