If you have ever fancied a long weekend of nothing but Call of Cthulhu, Chaosium has just handed you ten months to sort it out. The publisher has confirmed that Chaosium Con UK returns on 27 to 30 May 2027, back at the Cranfield Management Development Centre in Bedfordshire.

Find events near youChaosium Con is the publisher's own event rather than a general trade show, so the schedule is built around its games. Chaosium is the home of Call of Cthulhu, the Lovecraftian horror roleplaying game where investigating the mystery tends to be worse for your character than ignoring it. The studio has had a busy year: the long-awaited Innsmouth book finally shipped, and the board games team has teased a new project that it is showing off at Gen Con this week.
Badges for the UK convention are not on sale yet. Chaosium says they will go up "in due course", alongside badges for the US edition, which returns to the Eagle Crest Resort in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

See how it worksTwo more Chaosium Cons happen before then, though neither is a short hop from Britain. Chaosium Con EU runs 30 October to 1 November in Gdansk, Poland, and Chaosium Con New Zealand takes over Wellington on 22 and 23 November. Badges for both are on sale now.
The useful part of a date announced this far ahead is how easy it is to plan around. The con runs Thursday to Sunday, with the late May bank holiday Monday sitting immediately after it. If you want a table of people you actually know rather than a pickup game, this is the point to start rounding them up. Find or start a group and you have the best part of a year to get everyone signed up.
