Games Workshop is putting 42 miniatures, a game board, and a chunk of ruined city terrain into a single box this Saturday. City of Ash is the latest Spearhead set for Warhammer Age of Sigmar, and it goes up for pre-order on 18 April.

Find events near youSpearhead is Age of Sigmar's quick-play format. Two players each field a small force with pre-built army lists, no army building required. Games wrap up in about 45 minutes, making it a genuine gateway into miniatures gaming for board gamers who've been curious but put off by the commitment.
The box splits into two complete forces. The Cities of Sigmar bring disciplined soldiers, a forgepriest, and a named hero riding an ash panther. The Skaven counter with assassins, waves of fast-moving runners, and a pair of bomb rats. Everything two players need is included: a double-sided game board, ruined city terrain, and a 72-page handbook with the full core rules.
