Few video game premises translate to the tabletop as cleanly as Wolfenstein's: you are a resistance fighter in an alternate history where the Nazis won, and your job is to tear their regime apart. Now it is becoming an official tabletop roleplaying game, and it is coming from a British studio.

See how it worksModiphius Entertainment, the London outfit behind Fallout: The Roleplaying Game and Star Trek Adventures, is making Wolfenstein: The Roleplaying Game with MachineGames and Bethesda. It runs on Modiphius's house 2d20 system, the same engine driving those other licences, tuned here for high-stakes resistance action set in the timeline of The New Order and The New Colossus.
The details trickling out sound suitably desperate and dramatic. Gamerant reports a mechanic bluntly named "I AM PREPARED TO DIE," which fully restores a character's health and momentum and hands them an instant upgrade, at the price of making their next death permanent. A separate "crisis" system, meanwhile, ratchets up the moment-to-moment danger. Lead designer Evie Moriarty is steering the system, with players building their own resistance fighters and taking the fight to occupied territory across the globe.
