You work through a mystery location by location, gathering clues by observing your surroundings, examining details and questioning witnesses, with dice deciding how well your snooping goes. It is not just whodunnit box-ticking, though. Each case hinges on moral dilemmas, and the choices you make steer the story towards one of several endings.
The settings lean hard into British storybook heritage. One case unfolds in the Hundred Acre Wood itself, another slips through the looking-glass into Lewis Carroll's Wonderland, and a third lands in the court of Camelot. Co-designer Oleg Meleshin has said the idea came from rereading Milne's originals and being struck by how "disarmingly naive, genuine, and sometimes even wise" they are, and that gentle, thoughtful tone carries through the whole game.
