Tabletop Scotland, Scotland's biggest tabletop gaming event, is back for 2026. The convention runs from 4 to 6 September at the Royal Highland Centre near Edinburgh, and tickets are on sale now.
Stop juggling Meetup, WhatsApp, and spreadsheets. One platform for your gaming group's events, RSVPs, and member management.
See how it worksThe three-day event covers the full spectrum of tabletop gaming: board games, card games, miniatures, and roleplaying games. A dedicated Gateway Zone welcomes newcomers who want to try the hobby for the first time, while the open-play area and games library give you access to hundreds of titles to try before you buy. The Bring & Buy section is where you can finally shift that unplayed shelf of shame.
For aspiring designers, a Playtest Zone and Game Jam offer the chance to test prototypes and get feedback from fellow gamers. The convention also includes hobbycraft sessions for anyone who fancies painting miniatures.
Run game nights? Backseat Gamer handles RSVPs, waitlists, date polling, and game voting so you can focus on playing.
Start organising for freeHours run from midday to 11pm on Friday, 10am to 11pm on Saturday, and 10am to 5pm on Sunday, with upstairs areas staying open until 7pm.
Three-day tickets are priced up to £50, and under-16s attend for free, making it a solid option for families. Tabletop Scotland has grown quickly to fill a gap in the Scottish gaming calendar, sitting between the massive UK Games Expo in May and Dragonmeet in November. Exhibitor announcements are expected over the summer.
If you're heading up, it's worth rallying your group early. Grab tickets from tabletopscotland.co.uk.
