One Page Rules has lined up the biggest miniature collaboration the wargaming hobby has seen, and it crowdfunds on 12 May. Worlds Beyond Brawl pulls together 18 separate creators, including Paizo, Warmachine, and Trans Atlantis Games, around 500-plus 3D-printable miniatures across 53 skirmish warbands. All of it's playable together using OPR's free Grimdark Future: Firefight and Age of Fantasy: Skirmish rules.

Find events near youIf you haven't tried One Page Rules, they make a free, fast skirmish ruleset that's effectively become the open-source alternative to Games Workshop's specialist games. The OPR Compatibility Program lets miniature makers write army lists for their own models, hosted in the Army Forge list-builder, so any compatible mini can drop straight into a game. Worlds Beyond Brawl scales that idea up massively, with warbands from Paizo, Warmachine, Trans Atlantis Games, MiniWarGaming, Titan Forge, Crippled God Foundry, OPR itself, and eleven other studios.
The campaign launches on MyMiniFactory's Frontiers crowdfunding platform on 12 May. Proceeds split evenly between every participating creator, regardless of follower count. Forces from Paizo's Pathfinder Printables, Warmachine, and Mutant Chronicles' Warzone Eternal will all carry official OPR rules, so they can run on the same table without homebrewing stat blocks.

Set up your group for freeFor 3D-printing wargamers, this is a big deal. Pulling 18 studios under one rules umbrella is a feat no GW competitor has come close to before, and at the right pledge level it could mean a fully-painted skirmish collection without ever buying a Citadel sprue. Files-only crowdfunding has no UK postage to worry about either.
Pre-launch sign-ups on the One Page Rules site grant two free OPR miniatures, so even tyre-kickers come away with something to print.
