Most gladiator games hand you a fighter. Omega: The Dome hands you a wallet. The game from 2CBJ Studios launches on Gamefound on 28 July, and it casts you as a punter in the stands rather than a warrior in the sand.

See how it worksEach round you place chips on the gladiators you think will win, secretly bet on which ones you expect to be eliminated, then play cards to shove the fight in the direction your money is pointing. Every gladiator has a unique power, so the melee generates its own combinations and reversals, and the winner is whoever ends up the wealthiest high roller in the universe rather than whoever is left standing.
That structure has an obvious social upside. Nobody is knocked out, everybody stays invested in every fight, and the table spends the whole game trying to read what the other players have quietly backed. Wargamer, which spotted the campaign, notes that the pitch name-checks Titan, Cosmic Encounter, One Night Werewolf and Munchkin as touchstones, which is a fair signal of the chaos on offer.

Find events near youIt plays two to six and is rated for ages 13 and up. Gamefound lists 45 minutes as the headline figure, with roughly 30 minutes at two players and an hour at six, so it slots in as a main event for a short evening or a warm up for a longer one. The base pledge is $49, the funding goal is a modest $10,000, and the campaign runs until 1 September with backer delivery estimated for February 2027.
The 2CBJ Studios account only opened on Gamefound in June, so the usual crowdfunding caution applies. Even so, a betting game where the fighting is a spectator sport is a different pitch, and 45 minutes for up to six players is a shape plenty of groups are short of. If it lands, it is one to line up for a games night.
