MTG Eternal Weekend Hits Pittsburgh, Lucca and Tokyo in 2026

If you've still got a stash of dual lands, Magic: The Gathering's eternal-format flagship event is rolling around again. Eternal Weekend 2026 is splitting across three continents this autumn, with Legacy and Vintage championships running in Pittsburgh, Lucca and Tokyo.

The North American leg lands first, at Pastimes Events' Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania venue from 29 October to 1 November 2026. The European Eternal Weekend hits Lucca, Italy on 3-6 December, run by 4Seasons, while Hareruya hosts the Japanese show in Ikebukuro, Tokyo on 5-6 December. Each location runs its own Legacy and Vintage Championship, so winning one of these is a properly continental flex.

The bait, as ever, is the promos. Top 32 finishers in each Vintage Championship walk away with a non-foil retro-frame Treasure Cruise (yes, the broken delve card), with new art by Ralph Horsley. Top 8 get the foil version. Legacy Championship finishers in the top 32 nab a retro Life from the Loam with art by Hristo D. Chukov, foils again to the top 8. Both cards see live play in their formats, which historically keeps the resale value on these promos lively.

The slightly painful UK reality is that there's no London or Birmingham stop on the schedule this year, though Lucca is the closest hop. There's still time for the EU side events list to grow as the date approaches. If you're already plotting flights, find a group going to Lucca or Pittsburgh and split the hotel.

Full registration details are live now on the Pastimes Events site.
