Board Game Arena added the Massive-Verse Fighting Card Game on April 8, bringing Image Comics' superhero roster to the platform for free online play.
Stop juggling Meetup, WhatsApp, and spreadsheets. One platform for your gaming group's events, RSVPs, and member management.
See how it worksPublished by Solis Game Studio, the Massive-Verse Fighting Card Game is a two-player head-to-head battler that plays in about 10 minutes. Players act simultaneously each round, choosing cards and committing to attacks, blocks, or special abilities at the same time. There are no individual turns, so reading your opponent becomes the whole game. If you enjoy the tension of Yomi or BattleCON, this scratches a similar itch.
The base game features eight characters from the Massive-Verse comic book universe, each with distinct playstyles. Some are aggressive rushdown fighters, others play a more defensive counter-punching game. You can play standard 1v1 duels or the longer 3v3 Legacy format, where you pick a roster and carry momentum between matches.

Set up your group for freeSolis Game Studio is marking the BGA launch with two online tournaments, giving players a reason to jump in beyond casual matches. For comic book fans who also play board games (and there are more of us than you'd think), this is a nice excuse to try something different on BGA.
