Mantic Unveils 2026 Warpath Roadmap With Nameless Plastic Minis

Sci-fi wargamers, dust off your dropships. Mantic Games, the Nottingham studio behind Kings of War and Deadzone, has laid out a packed 2026 schedule for its Warpath sci-fi universe, and the headline is a long-overdue glow-up for one of its weirdest factions.

The Nameless, Mantic's tentacled deep-sea horrors, finally arrive in Firefight this winter with all-new hard plastic miniatures that double up for use in Deadzone. For anyone who's been collecting Mantic's sci-fi range since the Warpath days, this is the faction that's spent years stuck in older resin and restic kits while the Enforcers and Forge Fathers got the polish. Plastic Nameless changes the picture entirely.

Before that, the immediate focus is digital. From now through summer, the new Firefight Tribe on MyMiniFactory drops monthly STL packs at two subscription tiers, with Enforcers and Marauders leading off and Plague and Forge Fathers joining over summer. Subscribers get a welcome pack of base Enforcer minis just for signing up.

Q3 is the real centrepiece. A major expansion book will update Deadzone, Firefight and Epic Warpath in one go, alongside a global campaign that will shape the fate of the Warpath universe. Mantic ran a similar campaign for Kings of War a few years back, with player results baked into future lore, so expect a community-driven story arc rather than a corporate-mandated retcon. Epic Warpath waves 2 and 3 also roll out around then, completing existing factions and adding entirely new units.

For Goonhammer's full coverage, the roadmap also confirms big new vehicles for Firefight's Annihilation mode and "super heavy units" to shake up the skirmish format. Got a local group itching for a sci-fi alternative to 40K? Set up a Warpath meetup on Backseat Gamer and start recruiting before the global campaign kicks off.
