You can finally play as Grogu. Unexpected Games has announced Sworn to the Creed, an expansion for The Mandalorian: Adventures that brings Season 3 of the Disney+ series to your table, with four new playable characters including everyone's favourite Force-sensitive toddler.
The Mandalorian: Adventures is a cooperative card-based game for 1-4 players, designed by Corey Konieczka (the designer behind Star Wars: Rebellion, Twilight Imperium 4th Edition, and Battlestar Galactica) and Josh Beppler. The base game covered Season 1 and earned solid reviews for making Star Wars adventure gaming accessible without drowning players in rules. Critics wanted more content, though, and Sworn to the Creed delivers.
Alongside Grogu, the expansion adds The Armorer and two other Season 3 characters. Some characters feature double-sided cards that flip to a red side when triggered by in-game events, changing their abilities mid-mission. The biggest addition is a full campaign mode with character progression and saved progress, something the base game lacked.
Sworn to the Creed arrives on 31 July 2026 at retail, with preview demos at UK Games Expo and Gen Con over the summer. It requires the base game to play.
If you've been waiting for the right excuse to get your group into a Star Wars game night, a playable Grogu might just be the way. Find a game night near you and start assembling your crew.
