Queen Beavery needs a bridge, and she is counting on you. Kingdom Crossing casts you as a trusted beaver foreman in the kingdom of Brightspring, travelling across forests and islands, teaming up with the local animal guilds and building the sort of production engine that turns a pile of timber into royal approval. It is cosy, critter-filled and aimed at players who like a friendly building game rather than a cut-throat one.

Find events near youUnder the woodland theme sits a 1-4 player engine-builder, so it works solo on a quiet evening or with the family at the weekend. You gather materials, put the animal guilds to work and chain your actions together to complete the Queen's objectives faster than your rivals. Where a lot of gentle engine-builders leave you tending an abstract tableau, here you are working towards something concrete: a finished bridge and a happy monarch.
Kingdom Crossing comes from Marco Canetta and Stefania Niccolini, the Italian pair behind the meatier euro ZhanGuo, easing off their usual crunch for something warmer and more welcoming. Pandasaurus Games is publishing it as part of a wave of new releases the studio is lining up around Gen Con at the end of July.

Pandasaurus has Kingdom Crossing releasing in early August 2026, making it one of the first of this year's cosy builders you will be able to get on the table. Gather your group and put Queen Beavery's bridge to work.
