If your group enjoys a good caper, here is one to keep on your radar. Heist Team: The Fortuna Diamond, a cooperative heist board game built around escape-room puzzles, has stormed through its Kickstarter, finishing at more than three times its funding goal. The robbery is officially on.

Start organising for freeThe structure follows a proper heist. You and up to five crewmates get briefed on the job through the game's story files, plan your approach as a team, then carry it out while solving interactive escape-room-style puzzles, weathering sudden twists and building to a dramatic finale. It plays one to six and is solo-friendly, and it sits in the co-op camp where everyone works the same problem together rather than racing each other.
Heist Team comes from Kamaji Experiences, a small studio based in Gothenburg, Sweden, with the campaign run by designer Albin Stööp. The Kickstarter wrapped up on 12 May, raising more than €31,300 from 777 backers, comfortably past three times its €10,000 goal. That over-performance unlocked stretch goals along the way, including an original heist soundtrack and expanded story files that pad out the narrative.

See how it worksCo-op puzzle games have been on a roll lately, from the Exit and Unlock series to bigger boxed mysteries, and they are a reliable game-night pick because nobody gets knocked out early and everyone is leaning over the table together. A heist theme is a natural fit for that, all whispered plans and last-second improvisation.
A funded crowdfunder still has a road ahead before it reaches shelves, and there is no firm delivery date yet, so backers face the usual wait. If a co-op caper sounds like your group's idea of a good evening, keep this one on the watch list. And if it has put you in the mood for a heist of your own, round up a crew for game night.
