You play someone restoring the wild beauty of Patagonia, turning open land into healthy habitat for native animals and welcoming the visitors who want to see Argentina's natural wonders up close. Each turn you spend cards to expand your territory and put animals onto a shared map. Matching cards let you claim land or grow your animal groups, while bigger combinations pay for water features or scenic viewing platforms that boost your score. It is a game about position: connecting your land and placing animals where they will count twice, all while reading what your neighbours are about to do to the board you both need.
The changes go deeper than the setting. The Game Nerdz listing credits the design to Wolfgang Kramer and Daryl Andrews, with art by Joan Guardiet, and describes a fully modular board that scales with the player count, upgraded wooden animals and land markers, and a card-based action system that replaces the original currency mechanism. Take the money out of an economic game and you have rebuilt its engine rather than repainted it.
