The team behind Earthborne Rangers, the critically acclaimed 2023 co-operative card game, is back with a fresh way into its far-future wilderness. Earthborne Trailblazer, a standalone co-operative board game for 1 to 5 players, has wrapped up a successful Kickstarter, and you will not need to own anything else to play it.
Stop juggling Meetup, WhatsApp, and spreadsheets. One platform for your gaming group's events, RSVPs, and member management.
See how it worksThat last point matters. Earthborne Rangers earned a devoted following but also a reputation as a big commitment, with an ongoing campaign and a stack of expansions. Trailblazer is pitched as a complete experience in the same world, so newcomers can drop straight in and explore without signing up for a long haul. It carries over the studio's hallmark love of nature and exploration, where the wilderness itself is the star rather than a backdrop for combat.
Earthborne Games has built its name on more than the games, too. The studio is known for environmentally conscious production, using recycled materials and avoiding single-use plastics, which is still rare in a hobby full of shrink-wrapped trays. As part of the campaign the team also debuted an animated short film, "Journey to the Source", set in the same world.
