If your group has worn the corners off its Dune: Imperium box, Dire Wolf has news worth a House meeting. The publisher has revealed Dune: Imperium – Conspiracy, a new expansion that leans into the part of Frank Herbert's universe board gamers secretly love most: backroom secrets, political corruption and shadowy alliances.
Stop juggling Meetup, WhatsApp, and spreadsheets. One platform for your gaming group's events, RSVPs, and member management.
See how it worksDesigned by Paul Dennen, the man behind the original game, Conspiracy adds new cards, fresh leaders, new game mechanisms and a whole new mode of play. The reveal came with a first look at the box art, a tense gathering staged before a looming imperial structure, which sets the tone nicely for a game about plotting against the people sitting next to you.
The smart move here is compatibility. Rather than splitting the player base, Conspiracy is built as a bridge: it works with both the original 2020 Dune: Imperium and the standalone 2023 follow-up Dune: Imperium – Uprising. If you own either core box, you are covered. Dune: Imperium made its name by blending deck-building with worker placement, sending agents to Arrakis to broker deals, gather spice and stab rivals in the back, and Uprising pushed the intrigue further. Conspiracy sounds like it turns that dial up again.

Set up your group for freeDire Wolf has the expansion penned in for this autumn, which lines it up nicely as a winter game-night centrepiece. No UK price has been confirmed yet, but the base games are widely stocked here, so a retail release should follow without much delay.
If a new Dune box is enough to get the table talking, it might be time to rally your group for a session. Just remember: on Arrakis, the friend offering you a deal is usually the one to watch.
