Daggerheart Class Packs Land in Shops This Tuesday

If you've been meaning to run Daggerheart for your group but balked at handing the entire core box to every player, good news. All nine Class Packs from Critical Role's Daggerheart RPG hit shelves this Tuesday, 21 April 2026, giving each player their own self-contained character deck for Bard, Druid, Guardian, Ranger, Rogue, Seraph, Sorcerer, Warrior or Wizard.

Each pack bundles everything one character needs from level 1 to level 10, including ancestry cards, community cards, subclass cards, and the full domain deck for the two domains that class draws from. A PDF guide handles the rules. For Game Masters, that's a tidy stack you can hand to a brand-new player without them having to dig through the whole card ecosystem first.

Daggerheart launched last year as Critical Role's swing at D&D, and it landed hard. The core set topped Amazon's RPG charts for weeks. The system leans on a duality dice mechanic where every roll feeds hope or fear tokens onto the table, shaping a narrative rhythm that plays very differently to d20 combat. Its first proper expansion, Hope & Fear, is already slated for 25 August 2026 with four new classes, so the Class Packs arrive at a good moment for groups looking to onboard friends before the expansion drops.

Retailers include Darrington Press Guild stores and Critical Role's own shops across the UK, US, Canada, Australia and the EU, so British gamers should see them at local game shops and at Riftgate without a slow Atlantic wait.

If you've been thinking about running a Daggerheart learn-to-play night, this is the week to do it. Post your session on Backseat Gamer and invite your group. The Class Packs make it painless to hand new players a character they can actually read.
