Few horror board games have been as hard to get hold of as Camp Grizzly, the cult survival game that has sat out of print for the best part of a decade. Trick or Treat Studios is fixing that with a Second Edition, and it is heading to retail in 2026 after its crowdfunding run.

Start organising for freeOriginally designed by Jason Topolski with art by Austin Madison, Camp Grizzly is a semi-cooperative slasher for 1 to 6 players that leans hard into 1970s and 1980s summer-camp horror. You play counsellors being stalked through cabins and trails by Otis, a masked killer, searching for the objectives that trigger one of several escape endings. The pitch that made it a favourite was simple: players treated each session like they were filming their own schlocky slasher movie.
The Second Edition cleans the game up rather than reinventing it. There is a double-sided board, with a new map built around a multi-room building on the reverse, refreshed artwork and clearer graphic design. A welcome new option removes player elimination, so a downed counsellor returns as a fresh character instead of sitting out the rest of the night. The limited release bundles the core game with its expansions and upgraded components, including custom wooden tokens and a metal key.
