Zombicide: Squid Game Drops Zombies Into the Deadly Contest

Netflix's deadliest game show is about to get a lot more crowded. CMON is dropping the Squid Game licence into its long-running co-op miniatures game Zombicide, and the pitch is as chaotic as it sounds: you are a contestant trapped on the island, dodging masked guards, lethal playground games and a shambling horde of the dead all at once.

Stop juggling Meetup, WhatsApp, and spreadsheets. One platform for your gaming group's events, RSVPs, and member management.

See how it works

Zombicide, from CMON's Guillotine Games studio, is one of the biggest names in cooperative miniatures gaming. One to six players work as a team of Survivors, scavenging gear and blasting through zombies across a set of scenarios. The Squid Game Expansion drops that formula into the pastel nightmare of the hit series, so the familiar tension of running low on ammo now shares the table with guards who are still enforcing the rules while the world falls apart.

The box packs 20 new miniatures, headlined by the towering Front Man and the giant Young-hee doll from the Red Light, Green Light round. You also get four game tiles recreating locations like the Playground, Marble Village and the Colorful Stairs, plus 22 tokens, 44 cards and five narrative missions that string the horror together. It requires the Zombicide 2nd Edition core box to play, so this is one for existing fans rather than a starting point.

It lands on 7 August 2026 at £49.99 (about $49.99), and at 60 minutes for one to six players it slots neatly into a horror-themed game night. If you want a full squad for the island, find some fellow survivors near you and see who is brave enough to face the doll.
