Twin Suns Decks Drop 8 May for Star Wars: Unlimited Multiplayer

Star Wars Day is barely behind us, but Fantasy Flight Games has another galaxy-sized treat coming on 8 May. Four prebuilt 80-card decks built specifically for Star Wars: Unlimited's Twin Suns multiplayer format hit shops next week. If you have been wanting to get into Star Wars: Unlimited but haven't fancied piecing together a deck from scratch, this is the moment.

Stop juggling Meetup, WhatsApp, and spreadsheets. One platform for your gaming group's events, RSVPs, and member management.

See how it works

Twin Suns is the casual 3-4 player format for the game, where players battle in a free-for-all instead of the standard duel. The mechanics shift to fit the bigger table. Players grab counters that grant the initiative or trigger blast and plan effects, and decks must run two leaders sharing either the Heroism or Villainy aspect. Each deck is unique-only, with one copy of each card in exactly 80 cards, which gives you a punchy multiplayer experience without the deckbuilding homework.

The four decks pull from across the eras. Aggressive Negotiations pairs Anakin Skywalker with Padmé Amidala, Master and Apprentice teams Count Dooku with Asajj Ventress, Improvised Tactics fields Ahsoka Tano and Rex, and Blood Brothers brings Maul and Savage Opress. Released by Asmodee through Fantasy Flight, each deck is designed to mesh as 2v2 teams or chaotic four-way brawls.

For UK shops, this lands beautifully alongside the broader Star Wars: Unlimited release schedule. If your Friday night group has been on the fence about TCGs, four prebuilt decks at the same time means everyone gets a viable list immediately, no card grinding required. Fancy a Twin Suns night for your group? Set up an event on Backseat Gamer and rope in three more rebels (or imperials) to join you.
