Star Trek: Lower Decks Fluxx Beams Aboard the Cerritos

Star Trek's most chaotic crew is getting the ever-shifting card game treatment. Looney Labs has announced Star Trek: Lower Decks Fluxx, dropping the animated comedy's lower-deckers, Boimler, Mariner, Rutherford and Tendi, into a game where the rules flatly refuse to sit still.

Stop juggling Meetup, WhatsApp, and spreadsheets. One platform for your gaming group's events, RSVPs, and member management.

See how it works

If you have not played Fluxx, the appeal is mischief. It starts with a single instruction, draw one card and play one card, and from there almost every card you play can change the goal, rewrite the rules or pinch something from an opponent. A game can crawl along and then end in a single surprise turn, which is what makes Fluxx such a dependable filler for one to six players when the table wants laughs over deep strategy. The Lower Decks edition leans into the show's anything-goes energy, sending the crew of the USS Cerritos up against Creepers pulled straight from the series, the Pakleds and the much-feared Moopsy among them.

This is the fifth Star Trek Fluxx set, and Looney Labs is using the occasion to haul the whole line back into print. The original Star Trek Fluxx and the Next Generation, Deep Space Nine and Voyager editions are all being reprinted, so whichever era your table argues is the best, there is a deck for it.

Star Trek: Lower Decks Fluxx and the four reprints are all due on 20 October 2026. It is an easy thing to slot into a games night, and a fair excuse to round up the crew.
