If your Star Trek table has been short on Andorians, Bolians or that one Vau N'Akat your science officer keeps asking about, the wait is over. Modiphius's 132-page Star Trek Adventures Species Sourcebook is shipping to retail this month at £40 in the UK ($54 / €48 elsewhere), packing sixty new alien species templates into a single hardcover.
Run game nights? Backseat Gamer handles RSVPs, waitlists, date polling, and game voting so you can focus on playing.
Start organising for freeEach species entry covers the basics any GM needs to drop a fresh face into a campaign: a summary, sample values, attribute modifiers, traits and unique abilities. Beyond the species themselves, the book throws in over 120 new talents that work with the included aliens or any species you've already brought to your Federation games. There's also guidance on rolling your own Star Trek species, plus expanded rules for playing androids, holograms, liberated Borg, mirror universe characters and Vau N'Akat.
It isn't locked to the new edition rules either. The supplement is fully compatible with the first edition of Star Trek Adventures and Modiphius's Captain's Log Solo RPG, so groups still running 1E sessions can fold it in without rebuilding character sheets.
Got a regular group? Create a private community, poll for the best date, vote on games, and let your friends RSVP in one place.

TTRPG Fanatics' first look reckons you'd be hard-pressed to think of a prominent Trek species the book leaves out, which is a useful weight class for a supplement landing in Star Trek's 60th anniversary year. With the franchise turning 60 (the original series aired in September 1966), more groups than usual are likely to be browsing the rulebook shelves at their FLGS.
If you're looking to start a Star Trek campaign with a fresh batch of species options, find a TTRPG group near you on Backseat Gamer and beam in.
