Renegade Game Studios is turning Morphin Time into a fistful of dice. At its June reveal stream the studio unveiled Power Rangers: Impossible Odds, a co-operative dice game where you and your friends gang up on a single big bad rather than racing each other to glory.
Stop juggling Meetup, WhatsApp, and spreadsheets. One platform for your gaming group's events, RSVPs, and member management.
See how it worksThe setup is pure Saturday-morning nostalgia. Your team picks one of four classic Mighty Morphin villains to topple, Goldar, Terror Toad, Chunky Chicken or Knasty Knight, then works together to clear the Putty foot-soldiers and bring the boss down. The twist is in the dice: power-ups let you bend and rework your rolls, so a single bad turn need not sink the fight. It slots in alongside Renegade's growing Power Rangers shelf, which already includes the chunkier co-operative board game Heroes of the Grid and the Power Rangers Roleplaying Game.
For now Renegade is keeping the specifics under wraps. There is no player count or price yet, and the game is slated for 2027, so treat this as an early tease rather than something to wishlist this week. Even so, a quick, dice-chucking co-op built on a beloved nineties licence is an easy pitch for a family table or a group of grown-up Rangers fans. When it does land, it is exactly the kind of light filler worth rallying the group for, so find a game night near you when the time comes.
