Pokemon TCG's Mega Evolution block keeps barrelling along, and Friday 22 May 2026 lands the fourth set in the run: Chaos Rising. The headline pull is Mega Greninja ex, a Water-type Mega Evolution with a chunky 330 HP and a zero-energy retreat cost that is going to be very popular at your local game store the morning the boosters drop.

Start organising for freeChaos Rising is set 108 in the TCG line and ships 122 cards in total: 86 in the main numbered set and 36 secret rares behind them. The breakdown sits at five Mega Evolution Pokemon ex, five regular Pokemon ex, 11 Illustration Rares, 18 Ultra Rares and six Special Illustration Rares. Alongside Mega Greninja ex you get Mega Floette ex (the set's antagonist), Mega Pyroar ex, Mega Dragalge ex and Mega Gallade ex, plus a stack of trainer cards leaning into the Pokemon Legends: Z-A storyline. AZ's Tranquility, a Special Illustration Rare Supporter showing AZ reunited with his Floette, is already the card collectors are circling.
The set's tagline is straight out of an anime cold open: "The hustle and bustle of the city turns into havoc as Mega Floette ex brings turmoil to the streets!" Prereleases ran 9-17 May at participating stores, and a Build & Battle Box, a Mega Lucario ex League Battle Deck and a Mega Zygarde ex Premium Collection are all rolling out around the launch.
