Palworld, the monster-taming survival smash that ate everyone's January two years ago, is getting an official trading card game, and it lands sooner than you might expect. Bushiroad has set a worldwide release of 30 July 2026 for the Palworld Official Card Game, launching in English, Japanese and Simplified Chinese all at once. If your group burned whole weekends catching Pals on PC, there's now a tabletop version to squabble over.

Set up your group for freeIt's a two-player duelling game where you assemble a team of Pals, gather resources and raise structures to take control of the field. Bushiroad knows this dance well, being the publisher behind Cardfight!! Vanguard, so the launch arrives with the familiar TCG scaffolding. Day one brings two ready-to-play trial decks plus the first booster set, Dawn of Palpagos, with fresh card art drawn specifically for the game (the reveals so far include a rather pleased-with-itself Chillet). Palworld itself has pulled more than 32 million players since its early-access launch in January 2024, so the source material needs no introduction.
There's a UK angle too. Bushiroad is in talks to exhibit at UK Games Expo, and a summer demo caravan is touring game shops ahead of launch, with regional qualifier events later in the year feeding a first World Championship in 2027. If you fancy a launch-day scrap, round up your local card-shop crew or find a game night near you.
Stop juggling Meetup, WhatsApp, and spreadsheets. One platform for your gaming group's events, RSVPs, and member management.
