Two Little Mice is taking Outgunned Adventure back to BackerKit on 2 June 2026, with three new pulp supplements and a full remake of their cult RPG Broken Compass bundled in. If you have spent the last year wishing your action movie roleplaying game came with more whips, ships and submarines, this is the campaign to watch.

Set up your group for freeOutgunned, the cinematic action RPG inspired by John Wick and Die Hard, won Silver ENNIES for Best Game and Product of the Year in 2024 after raising €286,323 on Kickstarter. Outgunned Adventure is its first genre book, swapping bullets for tomb-raiding and pulp heroism in the Indiana Jones tradition. The system uses a fast dice-pool mechanic where you roll d6s looking for matches, with a built-in adrenaline track that rewards staying in character.
The June launch covers three eras. Golden Age drops players into 1930s adventure with a campaign called The Serpent Throne. Jolly Roger goes full Caribbean piracy with ship-to-ship rules and The Curse of El Dorado campaign. Voyages Extraordinaires leans into Jules Verne territory with the Island in the Sky campaign. There is also a remake of Broken Compass, the publisher's earlier pulp RPG, rebuilt to play cleanly with Outgunned Adventure.
Stop juggling Meetup, WhatsApp, and spreadsheets. One platform for your gaming group's events, RSVPs, and member management.
See how it worksThe English edition is published through Free League Workshop, Free League's externally-developed games imprint. Free League has won ENNIE Fan Favourite Publisher in 2020, 2021, 2023, 2024 and 2025, so distribution should be solid for UK groups. Two Little Mice has fulfilled eight projects since 2022, a stronger delivery record than most BackerKit creators.
If your party is between campaigns and fancies trying something with more set pieces and fewer hit point calculations, mark the date. Round up your group and start planning who gets to be the dashing hero with the sword and who gets to fly the airship.
