Marvel Crisis Protocol Alliances Drops Spider-Heroes vs Green Goblin

Atomic Mass Games is finally giving Marvel: Crisis Protocol players a proper co-op spin-off, and the first box leans hard on web-slinging. Marvel: Crisis Protocol Alliances - Night of the Goblin pits up to four players, each running one or more heroes, against the Green Goblin and his goons in a 90-120 minute beat-em-up scrap that scales with your group.

The roster is a Spider-Verse dream: Peter Parker as Spider-Man, Gwen Stacy as Ghost-Spider, Felicia Hardy as Black Cat and Miles Morales as Ultimate Spider-Man. The dice and scale match standard Marvel: Crisis Protocol, so the figures are cross-compatible with the existing skirmish game and AMG has confirmed you can mix and match heroes, villains and minions across the line as your collection grows.

The big hook for new players is the F.A.S.T. Minis system. Push-fit miniatures snap together with no glue and no clipping, the kind of friendly assembly Atomic Mass has used to chase the Marvel United crowd rather than the seasoned wargamer. Crisis Protocol launched in 2019 and currently sits at a strong 8.2 on BGG, but a couple of GW veterans have always argued the assembly hurdle puts off the casual MCU fan; Alliances is the company's answer to that.

Night of the Goblin lands in August, with Attack of the Sentinels following in early 2027 and The Once and Future Kang lining up after that. If you have a comics-loving friend who has never picked up a miniatures game, this is a much better on-ramp than a starter set. Round up your group and find a learn-to-play night once it hits shops.
