KeyForge fans, the Crucible is cracking open again. Ghost Galaxy has revealed Shattered Reality, the eleventh set for Richard Garfield's unique-deck card game, and its Gamefound campaign launches on 9 July, with the preview page already live.

Start organising for freeFor the uninitiated, KeyForge is the game where no two decks are alike. Garfield, the designer of Magic: The Gathering, built it around procedurally generated decks that are each one of a kind, so you cannot buy singles or build a "best" list. You crack a fresh deck and learn its quirks. Shattered Reality leans into the chaos with a new mechanic called Graft, which lets Archons bolt new abilities onto cards to brew their own combos.
The set also brings back Leaders to steer each house through the upheaval, and introduces a new ultra-rare card type called Mercenaries, survivors from the shattered houses of Logos and Sanctum who turn up fighting alongside former enemies. Follow the campaign before it goes live and you will bag a free Fractured Archon Deck, a copy with a unique border you cannot get any other way, when you back.
