Heroscape players who have watched out-of-print squads sell for silly money on the secondary market, good news. At its June reveal stream, Renegade Game Studios announced a wave of remastered classic army expansions for the revived tactical battle game, bringing some long-lost favourites back into print.

See how it worksThe headliners are the returning classics. Knights of Weston, one of Heroscape's most beloved and hardest-to-find Common Squads, is back with two full squads (eight figures), while the MacDirk Warriors bring their Highland Fury melee bonding back to the table. Both can be pre-ordered in a standard edition or a premium pre-painted version.
There is plenty that is brand new, too. The Krampus expansion, a premium pre-painted release, adds a nasty capture mechanic built around Krampus' Basket glyph. Dr. Torvik Morinstein, also premium only, arrives with a two-stage summoning gimmick and a Channel Lightning attack. The Twilight Clan Riders bring ninja cavalry with a Phantom Ride move, and Renegade also showed remastered versions of Zetacron and the Champions of Jandar, the latter packing Sir Gilbert and Alastair MacDirk plus a Valkyrie dice bag.

Find events near youFor those who care more about the battlefield than the figures, a new terrain set called The Ancient Lands of Valhalla is due in August 2026. It is an underground expansion set in the Myrkheim tunnels, full of line-of-sight-blocking ruins and destructible objects, and pre-orders include a free Heroscape: Isamu figure.
It all adds up to a strong run for Heroscape's revival. Pre-orders are open now, so dig out your hex terrain and start planning armies.
