If you have ever built a cosy woodland city in Everdell and wished the series would wander somewhere new, Tycoon Games has you covered. Everdell Emerland is a new standalone entry that swaps the valley's forest glades for a lush tropical jungle to the west of Everdell, and it is arriving in 2026.

Start organising for freeEverdell, designed by James Wilson and first published by Starling Games in 2018, became a modern classic on the strength of its gorgeous art, its three-dimensional Ever Tree and its gentle blend of worker placement and tableau building. It was named among the best games of 2018 by the likes of Smithsonian Magazine and critic Keith Law, and picked up a Golden Geek nomination for its artwork. Emerland keeps the compact, 1 to 4 player footprint of the lighter Edge of the Map spin-offs, then adds new toys: double-sided cards you can upgrade for extra points or stronger combos, gem mining, a River Market for trading, and an artefact bag stuffed with powerful discoveries pulled from jungle ruins.
Because it is standalone, you do not need the original Everdell to play, which makes it the rare follow-up you can bring to a table that has never touched the first game. It is a light, quick-playing standalone, so when it lands in 2026 it is worth rallying the group for a trip to the jungle.
