Euro fans, clear a slot on the shelf. Entropy, the next big strategy game from Board & Dice, turned up at Dice Tower East (1 to 5 July 2026) as a near-finished prototype, and the early hands-on impressions were glowing. It is designed by Simone Luciani, Tommaso Battista and Nestore Mangone, the team whose credits include Barrage, Darwin's Journey and Newton, so expectations for a chewy, points-dense Euro are running high.
Stop juggling Meetup, WhatsApp, and spreadsheets. One platform for your gaming group's events, RSVPs, and member management.
See how it worksIn Entropy you play a guiding intelligence seeding an empty galaxy with life. Across the game you build solar systems by adding stars, planets and asteroids, then populate them by playing cards, unlocking fresh abilities as you add biomes and upgrade your Console. Movement runs on a double orbital rondel, two concentric rings you travel around to pick your actions, so choosing when to loop back for the good stuff is the heart of the puzzle. The game ends the moment any two of the six main objectives are completed, which means it can turn on a knife-edge as rivals rush to trigger the finish before you are ready. It is built for 1 to 4 players and sits firmly at the expert end of the table.
Board & Dice has confirmed Entropy is heading to crowdfunding rather than a straight retail release, so a campaign is the thing to watch for. If you already have Barrage or Darwin's Journey on the shelf, this is very much aimed at you. And if you want a crew who will actually sit down for a meaty Euro, find a group near you.
