Uncharted Waters is crowdfunding now on Kickstarter from Burnt Island Games, and it promises deeper dives, tougher missions and a fresh crew of specialists.

Designed by Carl de Visser and Jarratt Gray, it beat Faraway and Looot to Germany's connoisseur game award last summer, roughly the board gaming equivalent of a BAFTA for meatier titles.
Uncharted Waters leans into that ecological angle. Alongside new missions and higher-tier specialist tiles, the expansion adds mini-modules built around saving endangered marine wildlife, pushing into deeper waters and restoring the balance of the ecosystem. It is an add-on rather than a standalone, so you will need the original box to dive in.
