7 Wonders is one of the most decorated games in the hobby, and now it is getting a box to match. Repos Production has teamed up with accessory specialist Gamegenic on the 7 Wonders Deluxe Series, a lavish makeover revealed on 7 Wonders Day that Wargamer reckons is roughly the size of a small pyramid. It heads to Gamefound in January 2027.

Set up your group for freeFor the uninitiated, 7 Wonders is Antoine Bauza's civilisation-building card game for 3 to 7 players that plays in about half an hour, no matter how many are round the table. Everyone drafts cards to raise a great city over three ages. It has sold close to two million copies and picked up more than 30 international awards, including the very first Kennerspiel des Jahres in 2011.
The Deluxe Series wraps all of that in a stitched faux-leather box with magnetic clasps and fitted trays. There is also a larger Deluxe Collection unit that stacks on top and stores every 7 Wonders expansion, with the whole tower sized to slot neatly into an Ikea Kallax. Worth a heads-up before you save up: the upgrade is mostly the packaging, with no metal coins or fancy tokens among the components themselves.
Stop juggling Meetup, WhatsApp, and spreadsheets. One platform for your gaming group's events, RSVPs, and member management.
See how it worksIf your copy of 7 Wonders is looking tatty after a decade of game nights, the wait is a long one, but January 2027 gives you plenty of time to round up your regular crew.
