It picked up Origins Awards finalist nods, locked in its first big expansion Hope and Fear for a 25 August release with four new classes, and saw Critical Role's own Age of Umbra premiere last May. Birthday week kicks off on 11 May at 8pm BST with Dicescape running The Skycadia Institute of Magic, a one-shot following four students through their final exams. On 18 May, new Daggerheart merch lands across Critical Role's UK, US, Canada, EU and AU shops, plus participating Darrington Press Guild stores. The Wish Thief, a Tier 1 adventure set during a lavish royal birthday festival, becomes playable through Guild stores and StartPlaying from 18 to 25 May, with new StartPlaying users grabbing a $10 discount via code DGRHRTB-DAY.
