Why We Fight is a solo-friendly narrative roleplaying game for one to five players where you run a crew of eco-punks resisting a hedge-fund-backed fascist militia called the White Fist. You work with the Community Alliance to save lives, reclaim nature and build a stateless, hierarchy-free society. It is unashamedly solarpunk: hopeful, green and pointedly political.
The system is built for low friction. There is no games master and no prep, and you can put a crew together in under ten minutes using three six-sided dice, a couple of sheets of paper and a pencil. Mechanically it blends Powered by the Apocalypse with the co-operative, tactical side of Fate, so it leans on fiction and character ideals rather than fiddly stat blocks.
