The next Undaunted game has been revealed, and designers David Thompson and Trevor Benjamin say it's their best one yet. Undaunted 2200: Revolution is a 2-4 player campaign game coming from Osprey Games in October 2026, blending the mech-based ground combat of 2024's Callisto with the dogfighting aerial mechanics of 2023's Battle of Britain.
The Undaunted series has released a new deck-building wargame every year since 2019, and each entry has landed in the BGG top tier. Callisto sits at 7.9 on BGG, Battle of Britain at 8.0. Revolution picks up the sci-fi storyline from Callisto, where the Lunar Frontier Authority and a resistance group called the Breakers have gone to war across the solar system. This time the conflict spans three locations, each with its own double-sided board illustrated by series artist Roland MacDonald: Mars, Earth, and Luna.
The campaign runs across four narrative arcs designed to be completed in 3-4 sessions of about 45 minutes each. A new faction system lets you recruit up to four different ally groups throughout the campaign, and your choices branch the story in different directions. Thompson and Benjamin say players "get to see the impacts of what you've done" as the narrative shifts based on how each session plays out.
Revolution will preview at Gen Con in August before going on sale on October 8, with demos also running at Essen Spiel later that month. The box includes 3 double-sided boards, 15 map tiles, over 120 playing cards, 30 narrative cards, 50+ tokens, 4 dice, and 3 rulebooks.
This is the game Thompson and Benjamin have been building towards. Mechs, dogfights, and a branching space war in under an hour per session. Good luck waiting until October.
