Thunder Road: Ignition is an all-new, standalone version of Thunder Road: Vendetta, the demolition-derby board game of chucking dice, flipping cars and blasting your rivals off a scrolling wasteland highway.

Find events near youIgnition runs on the same core system as Vendetta but with tweaks aimed at an easier on-ramp, so you can teach it faster and still get to the carnage. It brings four new car crew colours and half-sized road boards, now with curves, and everything is designed to combine with the original Vendetta and its expansions if you already own them. Pre-order buyers also get a free Fallen Tower promo road board while supplies last.
A bit of background for the uninitiated: Thunder Road first roared out in 1986, and Restoration Games revived it in 2023 as Vendetta, redesigned by David Chalker and Brett Myers with art from Marie Bergeron. It became a favourite for its gleeful Mad Max energy, where a good dice roll can send an opponent's car spinning into a fireball. Ignition keeps that spirit, now for up to four players.
